Storyline

Brian is anxious to reopen a case which he failed to solve as a serving officer thirty years earlier, the disappearance of Donna Adamson, now known to be dead. After an acrimonious exchange between Donna's widower and Brian, the team learn that Donna's friend Jill and another woman, Karen Brown, also went missing at the same time, prompting them to suspect a serial killer. The link is Eric Grant, landlord to all three, but Brian is not convinced of his guilt and is proved right when one of the missing women, still alive, explains all. Written by don @ minifie-1

The UCOS team investigate the disappearance of an attractive black young mum and her baby way back in 1971. This is personal to Brian as he was a young policeman on the case at the time.

Her husband Paul had reported her missing but now they are looking into new DNA evidence and maybe this time the husband could be a suspect. In those days there were no computers and the team unearth that one of her friend's went missing on the same day in Greenwich, her builder husband reported her missing. They think another man who knew both women might also be a suspect as he initially lied.

There was an interesting story but I always thought that one of the person's reportedly missing might be found as it was simply more than a case of a potential serial killer on the loose episode despite the viewer being misdirected.
