Kingdom is investigating several cases of arson, where several clubs have been torched, he has an idea that those in the protection racket may be behind it.
It's a decent episode, if I'm honest this was my least favourite so far, but it's still a good watch. A story that is of course very much of the time, and there is something very nasty about the protection racket.
It looks good, and I loved the scenes of the marketplace, hugely atmospheric. Pacing was perhaps the issue here, it was a bit slow. Maybe the previous episodes were just hard to beat.
There seems to be a format appearing, a new case, a new DS Gilson, I liked this one, Peter Blythe was really good in the role.
Lovely seeing June Brown, pre EastEnders, and as always, she's very good.
6/10.
