What an another good surprise here, where the story begins during an important executives party convention with happy corporation men being together after the reunion, just like in a happy comedy flick. Then, after a short while, during a little argument, one of them accidentally kills a party girl by pushing her through the window from the fourth (?) floor. The present men in the room decide to hide the murder accident. They also learn from the hotel employee where they are that the lady living in the apartment across the street is blind. But it seems to be other folks involved in this affair. The disease girl had a female friend whose boyfriend doesn't want to be involved with that, because the last thing he wants is to have the police too close to him...Then, there is an unusual thing here, you have a flashback line, where the dead girl maid tells the cops what lead her friend to attend the reunion where the corporation executives. Our lead cops encounter many difficulties to investigate, because the men who were present with the girl in the room from which she fell are very influent fellows in the community. I won't spoil you further but it's a good episode. Directed one more time by Walter Grauman.
