"NCIS" is a great series, but it has had its fair share of bad episodes. "Switch"- an episode in this season-, was a disappointing case, I have also never really liked "Homesick". "Model Behavior" is a mediocre episode in my opinion, it's not an awful entry to the series, but still manages to be one of my least favorites in this season.
Let' s start with the good.
. The production values of the episode are great as usual. The direction's good and the music fits the scenery. The acting is mostly solid too.
. There are some entertaining sequences in the story. The writer David J. North has always been good at writing the humorous bits.
But....
. There parts in this, to be honest: not very compelling, story, which could have been more fleshed out. The solution (Crawley is the killer) feels under-cooked and does not explain, why Noah Keller was murdered. The subplot regarding a news reporter got a very rapid outcome as well.
Overall, a mediocre case.
4/10 HK.
