Storyline

Near the Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia, a Korean wife of a Marine sergeant finds the bodies of two other such Korean wives shot to death; Gibbs and company investigate. Gibbs comments on the evidence of an unhappy marriage, and Ducky says that the murders appear to be executions. The husband of one victim is in Iraq; the gang find the other husband with a sidearm at the E Club at the base. While the team continues, the surviving Korean wife disappears from her bedroom, apparently by kidnapping; however, they find the missing wife, then not only identify the shooter but also learn about the background of the shooter and the changes of heart of that person. Quotes

Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo: Do you think it was a hate crime?
Special Agent Timothy McGee: No. I definitely don't think it was a hate crime. In my experience there's only one color in the Marines.
Officer Ziva David: By what I've seen of your Marine Corps, it's ethnically diverse.
Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo: He means green, Ziva, and I think he's right.

Awesome classic NCIS episode, A model episode
19 December 2015 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

This really is what an NCIS episode should be. There's intrigue throughout the whole episode as well as what characterizes NCIS the most: interactions and fun conversations throughout between the characters. The case starts with a Korean woman and her neighbour finding the 2 Korean woman's friends dead on the couch of her house. This is an NCIS episode so the presentation is phenomenal and the facts keep you guessing all the way. Great conversations with the characters from the very beginning make this episode epic. The episode, as to expect from an NCIS episode, moves at a great pace. Right when you're sure you know exactly what's going to happen the show deviates into an extremely different direction which is awesome. All in all"light sleeper" is totally worth the watch, all the epic things in NCIS are found in this great episode.
