Storyline

Maxwell and C.C. have a new play opening. Everything seems to be going well and they anticipate good reviews from the critics. But to provide a little insurance, C.C. thinks that they should use whatever networking ability they have to influence a critic positively. The critic in question is acerbic Frank Bradley, and the network is through Grace, who goes to school with Bradley's son, Frank Jr. C.C. wants to exploit this opportunity despite the fact that Grace doesn't like Frank Jr., who is a miniature version of his father. But since Fran and Grace are going to the park anyway, C.C. arranges for Frank Jr. to go along, this against Fran and Grace's wishes. Maxwell sides with C.C. on this issue. At the park, Frank Jr. beats up on Grace. Since he won't stop, Fran hits him. He threatens to tell his father, with whom he has the influence to give the play a bad review.
