Storyline

Fran is dwelling even more on the thing Maxwell told her on the plane and took back as Maxwell tells her he made a mistake six months earlier. However the mistake to which he is referring isn't quite what Fran was thinking. It doesn't help matters that Fran and C.C. are called to jury duty, the case of Kiki Hanson, a scorned woman (she, a maid - the accused) who was rebuffed by her employer named Vincenzo (a romance novel cover model), when he told her he loved her and then took it back. Kiki is accused of "cutting it all off". Reminiscent of "12 Angry Men", Fran tries to convince the other eleven jurors that Kiki is not guilty, for exactly the same reasons that Maxwell is completely wrong in taking back what he said to her. In the end, if nothing else, the case makes Fran realize why Maxwell took it back, which is of some comfort to her. Meanwhile, the Sheffield's need another nanny in Fran's absence. The entire household dies of hunger after a week with their replacement nanny. Written by Huggo
