Storyline

Fran is invited to Camp Kindervelt's reunion, but doesn't want to go unless she can get a date with a rich, successful man. This date is only to show up her long running camp rival, Judy Silverman. She first tries to get Maxwell to go with her, but he balks at the idea. Niles talks Maxwell into doing Fran this favor, but she has since found another date: actor Erik Estrada. As a lark, the kids sent in Fran's old "win a date with Erik Estrada" contest form from 1979, Erik who thought a date, albeit fifteen years late, a good publicity stunt. Fran is thrilled, whereas Maxwell is quietly dejected. Erik does take Fran to the reunion but has to leave early before Judy Silverman arrives. Fran is left in the lurch without a date, but a knight in shining armor comes to her rescue. Written by Huggo
