Storyline

Fran is feeling that whatever excitement she had in life is gone. In from Paris comes Nigel Sheffield, Maxwell's younger brother, who literally and figuratively sweeps Fran off her feet. She starts off only as his New York tour guide, but becomes much more. Maxwell is totally unaware what is happening between his brother and his nanny. Fran allows Nigel to ply her with flowers and jewelry, but she pushes him away whenever Maxwell is around. But Nigel still asks her to marry him and sail back to Europe on the QEII at midnight that evening. With no one in the house aware of Nigel and Fran's relationship, Fran thinks long and hard by herself about what to do. Although her heart belongs to the New York Sheffield, she seriously considers heading off with Nigel. Fate plays a role in her decision. Written by Huggo
