Phillipe, a producer, is mounting a production of "Romeo & Juliet". He wants a fresh voice for the role of Juliet, that voice being Fran. Despite being flabbergasted by the decision, Maxwell allows Phillipe to hire Fran. With all the rehearsal, Fran neglects her nanny duties, which leaves Maxwell to look after his kids. This leaves him frustrated and angry, which he takes out on Fran. C.C. learns, which she tells Maxwell, that Phillipe only hired Fran because he needed a flop as a tax write-off. Maxwell thinks that the less hurtful thing to do is to tell Fran the truth, rather than for her to face the public humiliation of actually going live on stage. Luckily for him, Fran beats him to the punch in coming up with her own different conclusion. Written by Huggo
