Glenn Howard fights to keep his Empire...!
3 June 2011 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Spoiler Alert !

A 'Gene Barry' segment Episode

This story sees Publisher Glenn Howard (Gene Barry) grimly fighting for his very survival as head of his Publishing empire as a ruthless rival Arthur Jellicoe (Burl Ives) seeks to wrest control of Howard Publications away from it's owner by using the most underhand of tactics....

Series Note: This was the ONLY episode to feature series co-star Tony Franciosa making a special brief cameo appearance 'as Jeff Dillon' (Dillon is seen trading jokey banter with Howard early on at a Executive meeting called by the Publisher)- Presumably this scene was done for series continuity purposes as Gene Barry made similar brief cameo appearances 'as Glenn Howard' in four first season stories of both Tony Franciosa and Robert Stack.
