***SPOILERS*** Coming home after a hard day's work at his east-side shoe repair shop Anthony Scarzi,Jay Novello, had his place filled with friends and family celebrating his two year anniversary of married bliss to his young bride Josephine,Marisa Pavan, whom he slaved all day to make a new pair of shoes for. Going into the darkened kitchen to wash his hands before going back to the party Anthony is shocked to see his wife smooching with lover-boy Burt Reynolds whom she just picked up partying! Enraged and humiliated Anthony slams head first into Burt's midsection pushing him out of the kitchen window where he ended up on the street with a couple broken of bones and being unable to get up!
Feeling betrayed by his wife Anthony still wants to let bygones be bygones and make up with her. In being the wimp that he is Josephine takes advantage of Anthony's what can be best described guilt feelings and leaves him cold and alone in his shop. It's there where he waits to get a call from her or her mom Mrs. Ametto, Agusta Merighi, which never comes. Josephine now feeling liberated starts to make out with neighbors Fred & John, Jeff Harris & Mike O'Brien, as the two young & horny men are working out with weights and sunning themselves on the roof of Mrs. Ametto's apartment building.
***SPOILERS*** Hot to trot and yearning for action Josephine has no trouble getting to two to go with her to the park for a roll in the hey or flower patch while her husband is left all by himself at his shoe repair shop. It when Anthony after having a heart to heart talk with his Priest, Sam Capuano, about his material problems later finds out from a neighbor that his unfaithful wife threw her shoes off and checked out with two young men for some serious action in the woods that he went berserk. Losing control and grabbing a switch-knife from a neighborhood youth Anthony heads to the park with only bloody revenge on his mind! Finally coming to his senses Anthony throws away his switchblade and confronts in hand to hand combat both Fred & John as his shoeless wife Josephine watches in terror!
