Alex's bedroom is almost entirely different from its previous appearance with the doppelganger: Walls are drab-green/slate-blue rather than tan or cream, the doors are painted a feminine rose color rather than remain stained oak, the floor is bare wood with a tan mat at the desk rather than a tan wall-to-wall carpet, the window left of the bed is gone with a window appearing right of the bed built into a perpendicular wall, the headboard of the bed is a simple 2x8 rather than a full headboard, the closet extends out from the wall rather than built as an insert, and the headboard of the bed no longer comes up against any extension from an outer wall that was, apparently, a construction around a first-floor fireplace chimney). In all, it is a drab box of a room rather than the open sunny room it used to be.
