It's easy to see how this show got a lot better later. This is still passable. I actually really liked the segments out of the theater and it was probably more enjoyable than the actual riffs! It was just really funny to see them make fun of the "Paul Is Dead" hoax. There were so many hidden things that you could find to justify your crazy positions. It does say "was" in the title. This is the earliest example I can see of a parody of a standard sitcom, at least with the laugh track. Glad to know they had support as far back as this.
There were still good lines in this movie. I especially liked, "Let's go in this cave that looks like a dinosaur's mouth". I also enjoyed, "The dinosaur cut the power line". The single riffs worked best here like with, "Hide behind the cans of explosives!". I knew they were going to say something along the line of, "It's a fake, but it's as good as most of the effects in this movie". Their riffs really do get better later. ***
