Trivia:

When returning a stolen laptop to a professor at Frostburg State University, Earl asks "Isn't that where Bullwinkle went to college"? To which Randy replies "Went to Wossamotta U. Lived in Frostbite Falls". This conversation is also in an episode of "Yes, Dear" (2000) almost verbatim. Frostburg State University is the alma mater of Gregory Thomas Garcia the creator of both "My Name Is Earl" (2005) and "Yes, Dear" (2000).

Goofs:

Continuity: At the cocktail party, a bird craps on the corner of Earl's shoulder. When he wipes it off, the spot is nearer to the lapel. In subsequent scenes the spot is on the corner again.
