For the first time in the show, Earl is going to fix something in his list that involves his ex- wife Joy but is not going to be easy, actually is going to be a real headache. The "crime" of Earl was to break the figurine of Joy, which represented the trophy of a beauty contest. Is just hilarious to see how Joy, actually, is the real problem because she don't want her figurine back, no what she want is an expensive hot tub.

And the other "story" in this episode involves Shelly Stoker and her daughter Candy, who is in competition for the present beauty contest and is the unique hope of Earl. This story is really sweet with this little girl whose dream is to be someday a doctor but her mother can't stand that she don't want to follow the tradition of her family, winning beauty contests with an amazing act of knives. Also we can see the sweet side of Joy, who is feeling like a little girl again thanks to the big sacrifice of Earl who not only give her back her figurine but also help Candy giving her hopes for her dream.

Well this is nice episode that has the participation of Missi Pyle who has appear in some great films like "Big Fish", "Galaxy Quest" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".
