After British secret agent Michael Hagarty picks up his uneasy friend Jessica at the airport, where she was to meet Grady, she gets caught holding the gun that went off in his fight with a foreign agent during the frustrating hunt for the illusive mystery master-hit-man the Cobra, a fortune goes missing. Haggerty even feeds Grady a false story so he'll pretend she not his aunt. Meanwhile his station chief Lancaster's suspicions are fed by agent Roger Travis, who also tries to turn jailed suspect Jessica against Michael. Furthermore suspicious characters roam around, such as (if they are that) a Chronicle reporter, State Departement special representative Kevin Styles and Miami PD sergeant Joe Santiago. Anthony Pullen Shaw, Angela Lansbury and Peter Shaw's son, was given the first show to direct after the company returned from the summer hiatus. Hub Braden, Production Designer, replaced Leslie Parsons who had left the series in August, 1988. Don Remacle was brought on to the production team to decorate the first project for the 1988-1989 season. The regular decorator, Robert Wingo, prepared the second show which followed this show. Don Remacle returned occasionally to alternate with Rob Wingo during this season. Anthony Shaw had been previously given two directorial projects as part of his mother's contract deal. Anthony Shaw was given four shows to direct in this season of twenty two, hour long shows. See more
