A knockout Sly is on "The Muppet Show"
3 March 2016 | by (Petersburg, Virginia) – See all my reviews

Back when "The Muppet Show" was at it's best and most popular when I was growing up as a kid during the late 1970's and at the height of "The Rocky" fame the one and only Sylvester Stallone made an appearance on the show. This was during season three episode 20 in 1979. I was only one years old at the time but over the years have viewed the episode many times. As usual with each episode and the same for this one "The Muppets" would be funny with quotes, and their music and acting out little situations. And it was a treat seeing Sly do things as in this episode Stallone battles a lion and his best work is showing off his different punches to "The Muppets" like the jab and a one two combination! And Sly even sings along with "The Muppets" in a bar scene! Overall good with Sly Stallone at the height of his "Rocky" popularity made this a knockout episode of fun for "The Muppets".
