Rowlf's bit in this episode is just him singing "What a Wonderful World" while stroking a puppy. I don't know if there's a clearer example of Henson et al knowing exactly what kids want to see. Oh, shoot, spoilers!

Knotts musical number cut!

Watching the re-broadcast on the Disney Channel, it is clear that "The Lullaby of Birdland" performance was cut out! The episode is less than 21 minutes long instead of the original 25. Not sure why that is, but it does explain why Don Knotts has less exposure than other guests in other episodes. Rather sad. In the "Goofs" section of this episode's reviews, that music number is mentioned.
