Herman writes a poem for the parlor's employee magazine and his co worker Clyde asks him to write love poems for a woman he has a crush on.
A pretty good episode, some amusing scenes. Chet Stratton plays Clyde, a practical joker on a previous episode but here is just a nervous nerd. Joan Staley plays the object of his affection, she was a Playboy centerfold and had her best movie role in "The Ghost And Mr Chicken" the same year as this episode. Funniest scene is Clyde and his girl parked in lover's lane while Herman writes poems hiding in the bushes.
