One of the most outrageous, and craziest Bean episodes I've seen, I love it!.
2 April 2010 | by (victoria b.c canada) – See all my reviews

Room 426 just goes to show you what happens, when Bean decides to stay at a hotel. My favorite bit is a tossup between the food poisoning bit, or where has to follow the old people on the stairs, but it's all hilarious stuff.

Act 1. Bean stays in a very posh hotel, and creates mischief as soon as he arrives, by getting mad at a bell boy for grabbing his briefcase, calling him a thieve in the process. Bean then annoys a customer and the desk clerk by ringing the bell constantly, before trying to beat him to his room. Bean has fun flickering a light switch, and then jumps on the bed, before the bellboy is back. Bean tips him a candy instead of cash, which doesn't please the bellboy too much. Bean then decapitates Teddy in the drawer, and drills holes in the walls to hang his pictures, and even turns his TV on full volume, annoying the next door neighbor in the process. Bean realizes he has no bathroom, so he drills a hole to sneak into his neighbor's bathroom, to have a bath. Typical craziness from Bean, and I loved every minute of it!.

Act 2.

Bean decides to go to lunch, but bumps into an old lady, and gets tired of the slow footing, so he tries an unconventional route, to avoid the elderly lady. He hangs on the outside of the Bannister, only to see he's right back where he started with her husband this time. At the buffet, Bean pushes through the line, and gets the same kind of food as his neighbor, only twice the amount. He then mimics all of his movements, and saves the oysters for last, but the neighbor finds out they are rotten, and Bean had already devoured them. Bean gets major food poisoning from it, and has a bad dream about the oysters, and wakes up in a cold sweat. After hearing loud music, he tells his neighbor to calm down, but realizes he's naked and forgot the key. He gets to the ground floor using a fire extinguisher to cover himself , along with hilarious in jokes like signboards marked "Private", "Exit", "Out of Order" and "No Entry". Classic Bean here all the way, it never fails to get some laughs out of me

Act 3. He attempts to get a spare key, while the desk clerk is distracted by Danny Larue, and sneaks into his spare frock, but Danny sees him, and rips off a clip earring.

Bottom line. Room 426 is another classic Bean episode, to be honest I sound like a broken record for saying that, but the fact is almost all of them are classics!. A must see.
