After a day at the racetrack, the Norths find the body of jockey Eddie Mears in their car trunk. It's an unexpected coincidence that Mears owned the same make and model car as the Norths and kept it in the same city parking garage. Eddie's wife Zelma who had asked him for a divorce just the night before seems the obvious suspect, but Pam questions the garage owner. Written by

The Norths and Lt. Weigand are spending the afternoon at the race track. Pam, by dumb luck, picks the winner in the last race. Upon leaving the track, Jerry finds the body of jockey Eddie Mears in the trunk of their car, a car just like theirs. Pam North in her usual ditsy way stumbles upon the solution to the murder. In addition to the humor, what makes this show entertaining is the affable lead characters
a well off married couple who actually seem to like each other. Nice
seeing Veda Ann Borg in her usual role of a brassy blond. Roy Roberts who must have been in hundreds of movies and early television shows does a nice turn as a gangster.
