"Mork, the Monkey's Uncle" opens with Mindy worrying about her latest job interview, while the widow Glenda (Crissy Wilzak) advises her that becoming a blonde is a sure way to succeed. Meanwhile, Mork arrives home with a chimp named Doc from the zoo, believing that Doc's mother has been kidnapped ("that's the child that Fay Wray never talks about!"). With the chimp in her bed Mindy awakens on the couch with green hair (which is never resolved), Doc disappearing out the door, brought back by an alert Exidor (Robert Donner), now the self proclaimed 'neighborhood vigilante.' Mork chooses Exidor to head to the zoo and find out what happened to Doc's mother, now residing at the zoo hospital where Mork disguises Doc in a suit and sunglasses to effect a family reunion.
