"I Don't Remember Mama" begins with Mork about to report to Orson when Mindy gets home from work early to take Mearth clothes shopping. Orson summons Mork while he's still in the boutique, tied to a stake ready to fry, angry that Mork's responsibilities to his family are interfering with his job to report to Orson. His memory now erased, Mork reverts to his full Orkan self, putting off Mindy and Mearth considerably. Even the old apartment doesn't ring a bell, Mindy distraught at having to go through the process of teaching an alien yet again. Mearth becomes Ralph Edwards by presenting Mork with 'This Was Your Life,' featuring Fred and Cora following Mindy, and the surprise appearance of Exidor, in Robert Donner's final series appearance. The fact that Mork recalls Exidor gives Mindy hope that his memory is returning, only to be disappointed again. Once he notices that her 'eyes are leaking,' Mindy's expression of emotion, coupled with a series of kisses, are enough to bring him back, Orson resigned to the obvious.
