Satan in the Suburbs has harried single mother and frustrated writer Xantipe Finch contacted by a demon named Clancy, who wants to write Lucifer's memoirs so that the devil can be more popular than God. Clancy quickly sets a bad example for her son, Marty, and proceeds to solve all of Xantipe's problems. But the more he helps, the more devilish the Xantipe and Marty become. Xantipe agrees to help Clancy write the book, if he'll remove their new demonic natures. But can he do it?
After that really poor last episode in which we got to see Adrienne Barbeau wasted in one of the worst stories that this show could possibly crap out. We know move on to the next episode which features "Sex in the City's" own Chris Noth with a horrible 80s mustache playing a goofy demon. Wonderful. There's really not much to say here, so I'm, just gonna say it's another one that tries to be funny, but, really really isn't funny. It's not as bad as the absolute trash that was "Their Divided Self",but, it comes close. Noth's acting is pretty bad here, and his transformation into a demon is the shows only bright moment as its actually some decent looking makeup. Our director Warner Shook only directed one other episode of this show, and three episodes of the related "Tales from the Darkside" all of which I fondly remember being poor. As for locations we only have one a house, with the kitchen as the primary spot. And as for twists once again there's nothing. All in all another bad episode, and just when you thought this series, was beginning to pick up. The next one if I remember right should be redeeming.
