I must say that this is probably my LEAST favorite episode. This one is even worst then the gold-hungry episode...
The family talk Clayt into going to Paradox, but when he sees a storm coming in, he wants to turn the wagon back around and go home. The other's admit to him that this is his birthday and want to celebrate it in style.
Gone is Ruel Jaxon who always wanted to court Kathreen. Now that's a guy named Brad. He's not in any other episodes (except the three I haven't seen), so I'm not sure exactly who he is or what he's doing with the Monroe family. He seems to have taken over as Ruel's character.
Paradox is now a ghost town with some strange men. One group are two circus men - one's a giant and the other a midget. Then the other set of men are bad men. The show and series ends with the Monroe's planning on making a go of the town. I wonder if it was someday renamed "Monroe-town" or "Monroeville?"
