The premise of this one is a little strange -- that a slightly disfigured female shoplifter can turn her life around if she gets free plastic surgery.
One of the funniest aspects of this episode is how obviously gorgeous Jo Ann Harris is, despite the fake scar on her lower left cheek, yet the script paints her as some kind of circus freak and that she's "unemployable" for looking so hideous. In reality, she would be what guys call "Butterface" (everything's hot but-her-face, for those not in the know).
It's an ok episode but I prefer my MOD SQUAD a little grittier. This one's a bit sappy due to the romance between Pete and Jo Ann Harris' character.
