Riva Santel is the center of a national personality cult. She plans to suspend the upcoming elections and rule as a dictator. Craving eternal beauty even more than power, the IMF lead Santel to believe that Cinnamon is actually a woman in her late 60s. While Santel is preoccupied with the IMF rejuvenation procedure, Barney and Willy edit her national speech into a farewell address. In the end, an extremely youthful looking Riva Santel is kicked out of her own home by security personnel who don't recognize her. Written by eem

A Female Villain
26 August 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Jim Phelps and his IMF team of Rollin,Cinnamon,Barney and Willy take on a female villain and tries to stop her in her evil plans and actions in "The Elixir".

Riva Santel is the wife of a late Latin American leader and has become a well-known personality in her country. She intends to manipulate the upcoming national elections and intends to become the next leader of her country. But she wants more. She wants to live for a very long time and to rule in dictatorship in her late husband's country. The IMF is given a mission to prevent her from her evil plans by using her quest for eternal beauty.Cinnamon is once again given an interesting role as a woman in her 60's while Barney and Willy try to do something with her speech to transform it into a farewell address.

Having a female villain was an interesting plot for the series.Too bad that having a gullible and beauty conscious one did not really look good as the she looked weak and less formidable against the IMF.Her being extremely vain did not look good into the story especially on how she was dealt with by the IMF.Hopefully, the show would have more capable and formidable female villains in future episodes and her vanity would be less of an issue and her ability to do evil will be better than the one presented here.
