Storyline

In the first of two parts, Dr. Erich Rojak, a brilliant scientist, is being held in an underground bunker containing a laboratory where he is forced to work on a small but extremely powerful long-range missile. If he succeeds, the missile has the potential to change the balance of power between the East and the West. Rojak is cooperating only because his totalitarian government is holding his wife, Anna, and threatens to kill her unless he completes the missile. The IMF's assignment is to rescue Rojak and his wife and to destroy his missile research. But another unfriendly government has sent professional killer Alexander Ventlos to make certain Rojak never completes his work. Written by aldanoli

IMF Plans To Rescue A Brilliant Scientist And His Wife
7 September 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Jim Phelps and his IMF team of Rollin,Cinnamon, Barney and Willy deal with a brilliant scientist that is secretly working towards the development of long range missiles in this two-part episode known as "The Bunker".

The first part deals with the Phelps and the IMF of dealing with Dr. Erich Rojak, who happens to be a brilliant scientist that deals with developing small long range missiles for an enemy nation against the United States.Apparently,he is only cooperating with them after the government of the enemy nation took hostage of his wife. The IMF starts their intricate mission of rescuing both Dr. Rojak and his wife and prevent another enemy nation who has sent an assassin to kill the scientist to prevent him from completing the task assigned to him.

This is a good start of the two-part episode as we get to see the IMf prevent the moves of the enemy nations and to save Dr. Rojak's life and that of his wife.It is also interesting as we get to see themes of assassinations as well as the a component of Cold War particularly the development of military weapons.
