Interesting to see 'Carry On Queen' Hattie Jacques in a semi-serious role.
The only real comedy is in Hattie's attempts to squeeze extra expenses from her tight fisted boss, other then that it is a straight forward adventure drama.
This episode benefits from lots of location filming especially around London as Hattie struggles on and of a 22 Bus while working on the case as her boss will not pay the price of a Taxi Cab.
later still this interesting plot takes Hattie's character to Athens although much of this is more then likely stock footage.
This was the pilot show for this short lived series made by Independent Television, directed by Ernest Maxin and first transmitted on July 5th 1964
