A young woman and her boyfriend, carrying the woman's abusive step-father in the trunk of their car, go searching for someone the woman refers to as Angel. When the boyfriend shoots and kills a policeman during a traffic stop, the check run on the car's license plate leads to a link with a string of serial killings from several years earlier, which is where Peter and Frank get called in. As the couple continues their search for Angel leaving a trail of bodies in their wake, Frank must unlock the family's secrets to guess what their goal is and where they are headed. Written by

Did You Know?
Dear Angel, I never told you about the night you left. I'd come out for groceries and when I came back home you were gone. I was terrified. I was lost. I couldn't get a straight answer out of anybody. I must have driven for hours looking for you... but there was no sign. I got tired and I kinda gave up. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I gave up on you that night. Please forgive me.
