Good opening to a good season

It's been months since the viral outbreak killed Catherine. Frank (the great, great Lance Henriksen), still mourning the death of his wife, has rejoined the FBI and is doing his best to take of daughter Jordan with help from Catherine's parents. After a mysterious plane crash, Frank is brought in to investigate, teaming up with Special Agent Emma Hollis (Klea Scott in her series debut) to crack the case. It isn't long until he starts to suspect that there is a connection between the plane crash and the viral outbreak that killed Catherine, believing the Millennium Group is responsible. Although many fans find the third season of "Millenium" to be the worst, I prefer over the confusing and extremely disappointing Season Two. In Season Three, the show became easier to follow again and the casting of Klea Scott as Emma Hollis proved to be a great improvement to the show (again, most fans would disagree with me). This episode along with its second part, titled "Exgesis" was among one of the many highlights of not only the season, but the series as well as it wonderfully combines drama, action, and science fiction like no other had not before or has since. The cliffhanger at the end of this episode is especially spectacular. Grade: B+
