I love Millennium, it's one of the few TV shows that has touched me deeply and made me look around in wonder. But Goodbye Charlie is bile. Richard Whitley wants to make heavy points about life, death and other big things, but comes across like a particularly nauseating sixth former - like, is it murder if they're gonna die anyway? Kenneth Fink might as well have stayed home and done the lawn, sticking Kristen in a Ramones t- shirt isn't going to make it all seem any less desperate, trust me. The sparkling Tucker Smallwood comes out fighting, but the script knocks him flat, and this is a great, great actor we're talking about. If you're new to Millennium and are watching it in sequence, keep the faith, the brilliant Luminary is next and that will have you gasping for breath. Everything's broken. Everything's fixed.
