****SPOILERS**** Mike Hammer, Stacy Keach, get involved with both exotic women and wildlife as well as priceless jade jewelry here as he tries to find the person who murdered his secretary Velda's,Lindsay Bloom, brother Gary Adams,David Winn. Gary had just came back from Paris with an expensive jade necklace to give Velda, whom he hasn't seen for years, as a present before he was murdered on his way home from a party in his honor. Determined to find Gary's killer Hammer checks out who he's been working for in shipping jewelry and wild animals mostly from the Orient to the USA. While all this is going on this martial arts expert dressed up as a Halloween black cat is murdering everyone that Garry was involved in his travels including his boss the milk toast and sophisticated Simon Rondale, Henry Gibson.
It's through Simon's wife Rhonda, Marcy Lafferty, that Hammer finds out that besides shipping jewelry and wildlife into the country she's also running a fashion show on the side with Hammer, being the real man that he is, looking to get into action with the sexy models that she employees: Including the sun drenched medium to well done former "Golden Girl" Susan Anton playing fashion model Noelle Roberts.It's here that Mike Hammer shows off his macho image by taking on an entire gang of Chinese Kung-Fu martial art experts on the city docks without as much as them laying, with him putting them all away, a glove on him. Still he has trouble with the Cat-Man who murders everyone that was involved with the late Gary Adams smuggling of stolen jewelry into the country.

The unbelievable ending is too much to take even for a Mike Hammer episode with Hammer having it out with a 250 to 300 pound Bingal Tiger bear-handed and almost punching the man eater, who just seems to be playing with him, out! It's then when the tiger, after getting a bloody nose,turned his attention towards the person behind all these murders and ended up after mauling him to death eating him or her for lunch!
