Victor Buono reads his poetry
5 February 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Victor Buono was on the show reading selections of his poetry from his comedy album "Heavy!" (Dore Records, LTD., Inc. LP 325). Selections included "The Fat Man's Prayer" and "Skinny Poems For Fat Lovers". Possibly "Lard Lib" as well. There was also a chubby actress (not listed in the credits) that he read to and seemed to get very turned on by his writings. After seeing this show I immediately sought and purchased the album. "The Fat Man's Prayer" is a classic that I enjoy listening to after all these years. And if I'm not mistaken, Victor Buono was also the cartoon voice for Hanna-Barbera character "Snagglepuss".
