Trivia

The second scene of the episode involving the five teens, with Billy, Bulk and Skull in Jason's Karate class, was actually shot for the "Dark Warrior" episode. This explains why the teens are wearing their Communicators in this episode, when they don't actually get until the second episode "High Five". The originally shot scene for this episode had the teens being what the network had considered to be "too mean and violent to Bulk and Skull". That scene has NEVER been seen publicly, but they are reportedly wearing the same clothes in it as they are in the first and third scenes of this episode. See more »

Goofs

When Zordon first directs the new rangers to the viewing globe to watch Rita, a few seconds of Barza, the Zyuranger version of Zordon, can be seen. See more »

Good start to a fun series

I watched this show religiously as a kid. V.R Troopers & Power Rangers were at the top of my list when it came to television shows. Of course, today, it tends to come across a tad dated and cheesy. But does that mean it's no longer enjoyable? No way! It brought back many childhood memories and the cheesy charm serves this show well. I liked all the Power Rangers, but my favorites were Jason (Austin St. John) & Kimberly (Amy Jo Johnson) This show has everything for kids and some enjoyable nostalgia for adults. Who knows, you might get addicted to the show once again. This was the gangs first major test from the very first episode. Everything is set up very nicely in this one for things to come
