D. W. Moffett is very chilling as the Iceman in this two-parter of Midnight Caller, which is one of my favorite TV dramas for sure. It's a crime that Midnight Caller has never been released on DVD, which really is unjustifiable. Anyway, here Jack is being hunted (or haunted) by the Iceman, who kills people he thinks should be cleaned up and made better because of their departure at the Iceman's hands.
What made the Iceman kind of nuanced was the fact that he owned two fluffy doggies on a yacht, so there's the human element. Rick Braun's sultry theme, along with the rest of the music by Brad Fiedel and Ross Levinson, makes for an episode to remember.
