Nice try, Tarzan
10 April 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

When Trina DeWitt, a well known and wealthy writer, tells her estranged husband that she is divorcing him, they get into a yelling and shoving match. He slips and falls on the ice pick she was holding and falls dead. She immediately goes to the police and tells them what happened but Gentry doesn't believe her. She has a reputation for pulling outrageous publicity stunts to promote her books (including a fake kidnapping). But he agrees to go back to her husband's apartment and see for himself - and the body is not there. Trina asks Shayne to help. The most important clue is a lipstick shade called "Tickled Pink." Good guest cast, particularly Joanna Barnes as Trina's secretary and Allyn Joslyn as her literary agent. Favorite line is when Shayne tries unsuccessfully to grab a gun, the culprit says "Nice try, Tarzan." Good line and good show.
