[Beau walks into an empty saloon, finds the bartender snoring behind the bar and wakes him up]
Beauregarde Maverick: Doctor Livingston, I presume.
Hank: [yawning] Excuse me, the name's Hank.
Beauregarde Maverick: Well, Hank, what happened to Virginia City? I've never seen it so empty.
Hank: Yeah, this place hasn't been as empty as this since Eta Lincoln played McGuire's Theater... in tights.
Beauregarde Maverick: Who's not wearing what today?
Hank: Oh, no, it ain't that. Kizia Bouchet is staging a prize fight for the heavy-weight championship.

Maverick: Kiz
22 June 2015 | by (Nashville, Tennessee) – See all my reviews

"Kiz" is Kathleen Crowley. She plays poker, smokes cigars and hires cousin Beau to protect her. Kiz's cousin wants her institutionalized so she can get her money. Kiz is a firebug, and it is a fire that ultimately saves her life. She and Beau have sex, although it is barely hinted at. Crowley donned a black wig for the role. She promotes a prize fight and bets on Gentleman Joe. He wins, and Beau must work for Kiz. Fire! Kiz gets her hat and dashes off! It is a warehouse that burned, and Kiz returns disheveled and in ecstasy! She beats Beau at poker and tells him to report to her in the morning. Kiz may be a feminist, but she is easily frightened and fears for her life. This is Beau's best episode, and it is set in Virginia City.
