Now, Which Arm Was It?
6 July 2008 | by (Claremont,USA) – See all my reviews

So who has the money or, as it turns out, who's pulling the strings behind the money grab. Brent Maverick (Robert Colbert) doesn't have much to do, except hold his arm and watch others maneuver for the stolen 40 thousand. The episode starts out with a bang and gets really interesting when the sheriff decides he should have the loot instead of the mail office robbers. However, things soon get really complicated, so you may need a score card to keep up. Certainly, no one can accuse the script of being too predictable. What with the many twists, Maverick spends half his time explaining who did what and why, which doesn't help the pacing. Colbert plays the part with none of the usual sly Maverick humor, so don't look for the expected chuckles. Question-- Brent gets an arm wound early on which he sort of holds, but it's one of those miraculous Hollywood injuries that apparently cause no blood nor pain. As they used to say, "Only in the movies". Average entry at best, with an energetic turn by veteran actor Trevor Bardette as the way-station agent.
