Obvious who the murderer isn't at the start! (Spoilers)
10 October 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I don't usually pay attention to the small stuff on murder mystery shows unless it's 'Columbo' but the writers made this too easy. It opens with a LA party and the murder victim ( a female) is dancing with a buddy of her boyfriend who's not there. The boyfriend comes in the party and gets mad when he see her. She lied to him about being sick & staying home. His 3 buddies calm him down but he storms off to go driving. She leaves too and we next see her at home, lights on, undressing in front of a glass door with the shade pulled down only to the top of her head. She strips to her undies, her heels and everything else lying on the floor and walks off. Then we see a man in a robe at the glass door. You can't see his head at all. A neighbor who was watching her the whole time also see the man. She gets in a hot tub and the man pushes her under the water and holds her. We see his watch. Going back to the start at the party the woman (in heels) is taller than her boyfriend and 2 of his buddies. The 3rd buddy is tall enough to be the murderer but that's too obvious. The guy's lawyer as soon as he hears the details tells his client to plead guilty?? He's also tall. Murder solved! The defendant in the meantime hired Matlock who's there on vacation because he's a defense lawyer. The neighbor who claims he saw the whole thing didn't see the murder.
