Mary wants to impress a U.S. Representative and decides to have a dinner party. It is made clear to her on every front, that her parties are the worst of the worst. She has six chairs at her table and so, in addition to herself, she decides to invite five others. It is the Congresswoman, Lou, Murray, Rhoda, and Sue Ann Nivens, the happy homemaker. Ted is excluded and throws a fit in the newsroom. His diatribe at Mary is one of the funniest things I've ever seen on television. Sue Ann decides to do the cooking, producing Veal Prince Orlof. First of all, Sue Ann decides that everyone will eat at 8:00 and most aren't even there yet. Rhoda shows up with Henry Winkler, who has to sit by the window at a little table. And, of course, we know who is going to eventually show up. This season is so wonderful with only a couple clunkers.
