The marksmanship awards on Lou's uniform are in the wrong place. Those types of awards are hung below the campaign ribbons; usually on left breast pocket flap.
In the past, Lou has often told stories of his army combat experience in Europe during World War II yet in when he's wearing his army uniform, he's not wearing the Combat Infantry Badge on his uniform, which is earned by being in combat.
When Lou goes to Mary's apartment in his uniform, he's wearing a Marine Corps Rifle Marksmanship badge, but he's wearing an Army uniform. He also only has service stripes on his sleeves, and no combat stripes (one for every 6 months of combat).
