Sammo comes up trumps against a gang of rogue cops
15 June 2017 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

COP OUT is the fifth episode of MARTIAL LAW and another stand-alone story. This one's pretty interesting, about a gang of vigilante cops who have taken the law into their own hands (shades of MAGNUM FORCE here). Sammo goes undercover and is variously aided and abetted by his buddies, although Kelly Hu barely shows up. The best thing about this episode is the elaborate building-site climax, in which Sammo gets to show his stuff. The choreography is very good, making this the most lavish fight scene of the show since the opening fight in the very first episode.
