Quotes

Peggy Bundy: How was your date, snuckum?
Al: Oh fine, fine. Just me cruising around, listening to the Oldies station at 1500 Watts. Made a lot of new friends. Take, uh, Officer Lewis for example. Unfortunately I couldn't hear his siren at first, but luckily police cars are now equipped with rammers, that gently eased me into the rail. Luckily the cop liked oldies, so he beat me with his nightstick to the tune of "Hey Jude". Then he wrote me up 18 tickets; including the on for bleeding on his tab. How was your ...

The Bundys Sue!
15 June 2009 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

When Kelly and Bud get to drive the family Dodge, they get hit by an expensive Mercedes-Benz and it's not their fault. I'm puzzled by the title because it really has nothing to do with the show. The Bundys decide to sue the other driver with Marcy's testimony as a non-Bundy witness. The judge is cast and played by the wonderful Dr. Joyce Brothers. The family screws up royally by Kelly pretending to be blind and Bud gets scared during the testimony. Anyway, it's a memorable episode when Marcy has a breakdown during her testimony about Mercedes-Benz and her ex-husband, Steve, who had one and left her in the former season. The Bundys think that finally they have a chance at the good life by suing for big bucks.
