Plot In A Paragraph: While on their way to Los Angeles for a "Shoe Convention," the Bundy's car breaks down in the small town of Lucifer, New Mexico where they meet an old prospector who gives them a map to an old gold mine in the area in exchange for their car.

Not the greatest episode, but still entertaining. Ed O'Neil and Katey Sagal make this episode for me as Al and Peggy Bundy, their chemistry is just great. The gorgeous Christina Applegate is not given much to do but looks great doing it. After heavily featuring in the last episode Amanda Bearse and Ted McGinley are reduced to one scene at the end as Marcy and Jefferson.

Coming to the end of Season five, I think the show was at the height of it's greatness, with so many solid episodes and great performances.
