Storyline

It's Christmas. Al doesn't want a Christmas tree, the rest of the family do. Marcy is determined to win the neighborhood decorating contest. Gary hires two young guys, Hal and Biff, to help Al and Griff at the shoe store. Someone (actually Bud and Kelly) kidnaps Mary and Joseph from Marcy's Nativity Scene and demand $500 in ransom. Hal and Biff turn out to be such good workers that Gary decides to replace Al and Griff with them, permanently. Written by Toni Tapola, Finland

Christmas Eve for the Bundys!
11 December 2009 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

In the final Christmas episode of the long-running season, they make an effort in proving a hilarious episode. First, Janet Carroll's Gary, Al and Griff's boss, hires two young men, Hal and Biff, who are like younger versions of Al and Griff. Then she fires Al and Griff where they find last minute jobs. Al is the Elf who drives the Christmas train around the mall with the little kids and wears and Elf suit. Griff gets a job as Blitzen, the reindeer, and gets to play with Prancer. While Al is busy at the mall, Peggy creates a gingerbread house and a neighborhood. The kids, Bud and Kelly have decided to kidnap Jefferson and Marcy's Joseph and Mary statues which were imported from Europe for money. Marcy wants desperately to win the annual Christmas decoration contest in the neighborhood.
