Peggy kills the healthiest man in town!
Sylviastel30 May 2009
Peggy wins Jim Jupiter who proclaims himself as the healthiest man in Chicago and is an exercise show host for a week. When he comes, Peggy's resistance is almost unbearable. She refuses to comply to his ideas such as eating healthy, quitting smoking, and exercising. Peggy turns the situation around and Jim is under her negative influences. When he returns to his show, he is smoking on the couch. Somehow, Peggy has ruined the healthiest man in Chicago. When it gets worse, she feels responsible and decides to get the family healthy. But Al knows what killed Jim was his healthy lifestyle and not the other way around. He could not live in Chicago by eating right and exercising, according to Al.

Peggy is fit.

Peggy wins a prize draw to have Jim Jupiter, the healthiest man in Chicago, visit her home for two weeks. Instead of Jim whipping her into shape, she exposes him to an unhealthy lifestyle that causes him to drop dead live on TV.

Christina Applegate was always the main draw of MWC for me back in the 80s/90s (and still is), but this episode sees Katey Sagal showing off her form, Peggy's addiction to bonbons and her sedentary lifestyle not having done any damage to her figure: she's a fox!

Feeling guilty about killing Jim, Peg tries to introduce healthy living to her family, but Al explains that it was Jim's healthiness that finished him off: his body just wasn't accustomed to cholesterol and sugar like the average American.

A better than average episode with some really funny lines of dialogue, my favourites being "Don't let the wedding ring fool you--means nothing to me" and "Gymnast isn't an athlete--gymnast is... like a girl".
