This is the 26th episode of 1964 to 1968 spy series, THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. The series ran for a total of 105 episodes. The first season was filmed in black and white with the remainder shot in colour. Robert Vaughn plays agent Napoleon Solo while David McCallum plays Illya Kuryakin. Leo G Carroll plays Mister Waverly, the boss of the secret agency known as U.N.C.L.E. (United Network Command for Law & Enforcement) Their main enemy is THRUSH, an organization out to take over the planet.
In this episode, UNCLE is out to find out who is kidnapping scientists from both sides of the Iron Curtain. The main suspect is Eddie Albert. Albert is a religious revivalist who goes by the name of, Brother Love. Albert's revival show travels the world and everywhere it shows up, a scientist goes missing.
Agents Robert Vaughn and David McCallum are soon on the trail of Albert. Albert is not impressed with the snooping and gobbles up Vaughn and puts McCallum in the hospital. Grabbed up by the baddies in error, is also Maggie Pierce. Pierce and Vaughn are hustled off to a hidden spot on the west coast.
It seems that Albert is using the scientist types to help him build an atomic-powered spaceship. Needless to say Vaughn manages to throw more than a few monkey wrenches into the works. Head nasty, Albert, gets something of a start on space travel when Vaughn blows up him and his helicopter.
This is an enjoyable episode with Albert delivering his normal good work.
