A young woman called Sandra ( Suzanne Moore ) desperately wants to speak to Robin. She has discovered she is pregnant, and thinks Robin is the father. Chrissy and Jo brand their flat mate a 'rat' and a 'pig'. The thing is - Robin has never met her. It is Larry she has slept with. He had been using his friend's name when courting her. Robin thinks it is his present girlfriend - Linda ( Alison Hughes ) - who is in the family way, and so proposes to her in a restaurant...
Larry's complicated love-life is the starting point for this episode. He has been using other names in his pursuit of the fair sex, including 'Orinoco Womble'. For such a louse, he appears to be well-read. Note the Len Deighton paperbacks on the shelf in his flat.
Funniest moment - Robin proposing in the restaurant. He is touching one of one of those tomato-shaped sauce dispensers you don't find in cafes anymore. Linda is so thrilled she squeezes his hands - and he gets a face-full of ketchup!
Second funniest moment - Larry pretending to be gay, and getting the landlord ( John Carlin ) of 'The White Swan' all excited!
